A new Board is elected every two years and is then introduced to members at the Annual General Meeting. A President and Executive Committee is elected at a special Board meeting before the Annual General Meeting. In 2018, the DMISA Constitution was amended to reflect its status as professional body, and the structure previously known as the DMISA Council (1985-2018) has been renamed the Board.
